Midtown Atlanta, Georgia between 11th and 12th Streets to the north and south, between Peachtree Street and West Peachtree Street to the east and west. The North Avenue Marta Station is located 1 1/2 block south of the property.
Two hundred nineteen (219) apartments comprised of 102 1-bedroom/1 bath units, 25 2 bedroom/2 bath loft units and 92 2 bedroom/2 bath units. All apartments come equipped with nine-foot ceilings, sunrooms or exterior balconies and designer kitchens with state-of-the-art appliances. Each unit will also be equipped with washer and dryers.
Peachtree Walk also has a swimming pool and clubhouse with fully equipped exercise room. A state-of-art cable TV system and controlled access system is also included in the project. Three hundred thirty parking spaces are also provided for resident and guest parking.
Peachtree Walk opened in May 1996 as a hotel property to accommodate housing needs for corporate employees (IBM, Nokia, Discovery Channel, Adidas & The US Olympic Committee) working before and during the Olympics. The property was managed by EF Howington Company LLC as a limited service hospitality property. Amenities included daily maid service, breakfast, swimming, and 24 manned security. In August 1996, the property was refurbished and apartment leasing commenced with a significant number of units being rented on an extended stay basis.
